Fascinated and horrified by practices of archiving, CV-building and self-promotion, Chatting Tanum present an exhibition of new and existing works. Collage, prints, sculpture and video think through the tensions and pleasures of: online record versus turning up; economies and fictions of documentation; mythologies of artistic practice; and the impulses towards opacity, reluctance, uncertainty, shyness and angst.

This exhibition happily coincides with Chatting Tanum’s performance of “This”, presented at Backlit Gallery on October 11th, as part of Nottdance, Nottingham’s biennial of contemporary choreography.
